The president of the Tyrolean Handball Federation since 1991 and director of the technical committee of the Austrian Handball Federation was considerable involved in the organisation of the B-WC for men in 1992. He was main coordinator as the president of the organising committee of the Junior EC in 1998 in Innsbruck. Since eight years Czermin has been vice-president of the Federation of Tyrolean Sports Union and member of the Tyrolean Provincial Sports Government.

Already at the Junior EC 1998 the former Handball National Team player formed the leading duo with Thomas Czermin in the organizing committee. Until the summer of 2005 he was steering the fortunes of the tradition-rich ATSVI, the handball team of Innsbruck.

The sports manager is a 17year veteran with the Innsbruck team, and was also member of the Austrian Youth- and Junior National Team.

Active handball player until 1990, Dieter Blasinger became manager of the Austrian Elite-League Team Handball Innsbruck Tyrol in 1997. He also participated in the organization of the Junior EC in 1998. His extensive sport management experience contributes to his successful marketing and sponsoring activity.

Engelbert Hauschild is responsible for the safety and security of all teams in the venues of the tournament, in coordination with the local police. Already in 1998 was this his responsibility during the Junior EC in Innsbruck. Hauschild is employee of the city of Innsbruck, the athletics centres are his responsibility in the city’s sports department.

The banker was already responsible for financial issues at the 1998 Junior EC. He gained knowledge and experience surrounding major Handball events from participating as a international referee, both in World and European Championships. Since his career as a referee ended, he is involved as a delegate in the national and international Handball Association.
